Camping Holiday in Normandy - Day 2

The two-tone green tent was our spacious home for the week - kindly lent to us by my brother Jon. Our car is in the foreground complete with top-box which was essential for carrying all our clothes and sleeping bags as the car was full of camping gear.

The 400 year old hunting lodge now serving as the bar.

The badminton court saw a lot of use by us during the week.

The small lake where we had fun canoeing.

Camping Holiday in Normandy - Day 1

This summer (?) saw us travelling to Normandy again for a camping holiday with 3 other families. Here we are on the ferry from Dover to Calais. It was a lovely, clear, calm, sunny day and we could see both Dover and Calais when we were mid-channel.

Matthew with the white cliffs of Dover just visible in the distance.

Calais in view.

Tent sent up and ready for the first night.
